How to remove fleas from the home

Fleas are generally caused by pets but can also be carried by humans.

Flea larvae attach to the hair and fall off in the home, hatch and can survive for weeks. So what should you do if you find them?

Locate a professional. The internet and keyboard warriors are just theorising what they have heard, such as spraying lemon juice, bicarbonate of soda and a variety of shop products.

These pesky creatures are very small, and you need to eradicate them all, not 99%.

That 1% can reproduce.

So, what do we do that’s different and 100% success rate?

What you need to understand is that these flying creatures play hide and seek.

Crevices, small holes, need to be attacked.

We use a fogging machine.

Wearing PPE, each room is treated with a gaseous poison. We spray everywhere, every corner, every fabric.

This kills the fleas.

Each room is left vacant for about 30 minutes to allow the excess gas to float around and dissipate.

We then open the windows and doors.

Everything now needs to be washed. Such as bedding.

For the carpets and furniture, we steam clean these using temperatures above 120c.

The cost for this service is £140 PER ROOM.

A full house can take most of a day to sort.
